Wildlife and pest removal companies
Animals move into attics and crawl spaces through storm damage and gaps, and they can damage insulation and wiring on their own. Wildlife removal companies get them out and close the openings.

Animals in the attic
Storm damage and small gaps let raccoons, squirrels, bats and birds into attics and crawl spaces, where they can tear up insulation, chew wiring and leave droppings that contaminate the space. Removal is only half the job: the openings have to be sealed, or new animals move in.
Rules differ by state and by animal. Bats are protected in many states, and removing them is often restricted during the months when they raise their young, so a company may need to wait before sealing the last opening. Insulation fouled by droppings is usually removed and replaced rather than cleaned.
Questions to ask before you hire
Are you licensed for this?
Wildlife control and pest control are licensed in many states, sometimes separately. Ask what applies where you live.
How will you remove them?
Ask whether the plan is exclusion, letting animals out and sealing the way back in, or trapping, and what happens to the animals.
Will you seal the entry points, and is that guaranteed?
Ask what openings will be sealed and how long the work is warranted.
Do you clean up afterward?
Ask whether droppings and damaged insulation are removed, and what the area is treated with.
Does Restoration Advertising check these companies?
No. The companies supplied their own listings, and the directory does not rate, rank or vet them. That is why the questions above are worth asking whoever you call.
